Our last wedding of 2013 was in Marin at the Headlands Center For The Arts. The last time we photographed a wedding here was in our first year of business back in 2008. We originally had met Libby and Chris through Emily of Downey Street Events, who had done an amazing job of helping putting this extravagant day together. Being that the wedding was at the Headlands Center, paired with DSE, we knew that this day was going to be amazing. Joanne and I started our day very early, departing from the South Bay before the sun had risen. We arrived up in San Francisco, more specifically Hawk Hill, just in time to capture the gorgeous sunrise over the low blanket of fog that covered the bay. From there we traveled into a cold and foggy Marin, only to be welcomed by warm smiles and love from Libby and Chris. Initially we had ran into Libby's parents outside of the hostel, and their kindness and friendly hospitality set the tone to what would turn out to be a day we will always remember. We knew right then that their family and friends were going to be marvelous to work with.
Everything about their day couldn't have been any more perfect. From her dress to his suit, the gorgeous floral arrangements by Madeline Trait, the delicious food prepared by the amazing Katie Powers, and the sweet treats and cake whipped up by Savage Flour. Joanne and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding that day and to have met such a lovely couple.
