Rachel and Jonathan came to California to host their beautiful wedding. A day before their wedding they wanted to gather all their dearest family and closest friends for a picnic gathering. I was lucky enough to capture some of the fun relaxed moments this beautiful couple got to enjoy with their loved ones before the wedding festivities began. This VW Van was part of Rachel's family for 30 years. This same van brought Rachel's brother home from the hospital and has had countless road trips and family adventures for the Young's. They were supposed to sell the van shortly after the wedding, but a tree landed on it a week after this picnic and crushed the van. I guess you can say that this van was destined to be a part of this family's life and only this family's life. It was a honor to capture some great portraits of the Young's and the VW Van.
