As a newlyweds Jonathan and I know how much planning, stress, and excitement can go into planning a wedding.  WE know that every vendor you decide to hire for that day should not only be able to help you create that vision for your day, but also be there for you to make things as smooth as possible.  I just wanted to share some sneak peeks from Elaine and Alex’s wedding as well as an awesome email sent to us from them.  Reading their email not only warms our hearts, but it also reminds us of why we got into wedding photography in the first place.  We wanted to help couples capture every single detail of one of their most important days of their lives, memories that can’t be recreated, but relived when they look back at their photos.

Again thank you Elaine and Alex for having us at your wedding, it was such a blast and I hope that day comes when I can shrink one of your lovely aunts and put her in my pocket so that I may take her out when I want to look at something darling!!  You two are so blessed to have amazing friends and family surround you  on your wedding day!!  Enjoy Thailand!!

Thank you for your sweet email! We are so happy that you were both there to celebrate with us and capture our special day! It was truly incredible, and we felt so lucky to have the ninja team! You two are so stealth and fun that we forgot we were being photographed half the time. We couldn’t be happier

We are having an awesome time in Thailand – the people here are so genuinely good and kind. Here is a pic of the beach where we are staying in Krabi and one of the millions of crabs on the beach! Too bad back to reality next week!

Jennifer and Joanne go way back!!  Back in the days of alter serving, elementary school, and countless boys before me.  LOL  :)  I’m so honored to be a part of Jen and Larry’s wedding.  They have such impeccable style and taste in clothing and I know that their wedding at the Hotel Sofitel in Redwood City is going to be awesome and full of crazy details that only brides dream about starting with her dress!!

I love it when couples think of their own special locations for their engagement sessions.  I think its important that a couple put  their own thought into the location for their shoot, Jennifer and Larry for example chose one of their locations for their session being a park close to the Cliff House in San Francisco, where Larry proposed to Jen.  Brides listen up…engagement sessions are awesome trial runs with your make up artist and hairstylist for your wedding day.  It’s a really great way to get a feel for how your make up is going to look photographed.

So couples I encourage you to make the most out of your engagement session!!  On to Jennifer and Larry…enjoy!

Wow!! To write a blog post about myself is sorta weird!!  Well… here are my thoughts.  This session was so awesome!! Being a photographer and usually on the other end of the camera, sometimes you never know what to expect when you finally go through the session to actually edit the photos.  I will honestly say that Jonathan captured me at my best.  Not only at all the best angles, but at my best moments in life.

Being a mother at a young age is definitely a challenge.  Our first daughter Airis was born when I was 21 and now 5 years later we’re expecting our 2nd. What a roller coaster ride for sure!!  When I look at these photos I realize that I am at my happiest, I’m married to a wonderful man, Jonathan; who not only is the driving force to everything I do, but he’s also the one who helps keep me grounded  in realizing the life I have is wonderful.  I’ll admit for years I’ve wondered if I missed out on my 20s because I always looked at my friends around me who were out and about enjoying their single non child bearing lives and thought to myself, “Should I be doing that? Have I missed out on something amazing?”

It was until the last year or so when I realized that I have everything and more and that my life has been the greatest adventure any woman could ask for. We have an awesome business where we can capture people in love, and we love doing it.  And I am looking forward to having an amazing future with 2 wonderful girls, a growing business to juggle, and a husband I still need to stay hot for!  I won’t stop being fabulous because I have two girls to prove that just because things don’t go according to plan, doesn’t mean you have to stop laughing in life and believing in yourself.

So for those young mothers out there I dedicate this to you.  As I hope that I can be that leading example that anything is possible and when life throws you a curveball, such as that unexpected pink plus sign, SWING that bat harder than you could ever imagine.  Because the unexpected doesn’t mean you give up, it just means you try harder and grow into the most beautiful woman you could have ever imagined.

Shortly before Marian and Jerry’s wedding they emailed us wanting to know if we could post up a wacky booth like we did at Michelle + John’s Wedding.  We called on our special ops Quincy of Rock the Image, to help us out and man the booth once again.  Mission accomplished.  Thanks Quincy for helping us out.  For all you clients who are interested in something like this we definitely can make your dream come true.  Its a great way to involve your guests in something fun, silly, and off the wall during the reception.  To see more from their Wacky Booth check out the slideshow!!
